1. What we collect
When you create an account we collect your name and email address, and either a password (stored only as a salted hash — never in plain text) or, if you use “Continue with Google,” the name and email Google shares with us. We also record when you sign in. We log basic searches and the lead actions you take (calling a store, getting directions, opening a retailer) to operate and improve the Service.
2. How we use it
We use your information to give you access to gated features, secure your account, understand product usage, and contact you about the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sharing
We share data with service providers that host our database and infrastructure, and with third-party data sources only as needed to return results for your searches. When you act on a listing you are handed off to that retailer, whose own privacy practices then apply.
4. Cookies
We use a single signed, http-only session cookie to keep you signed in. It is essential to the Service and is not used for advertising.
5. Retention & your choices
We keep your account information until you ask us to delete it. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us. Signing out clears your session cookie.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including hashing passwords and signing session tokens. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
